<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a broadcast receiving method capable of acquiring operation information related to broadcasting listening in the background by simple operation without interrupting an application requiring text input during execution. <P>SOLUTION: When a text is input by a second application for display while the broadcasting is being received by a first application, a conversion candidate character based on the input text and the operation information related to the broadcasting of the first application are displayed selectively according to the character input operation by the second application.
