PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a peak-cut-structure clutch cover assembly having a higher degree of freedom in design. SOLUTION: The clutch cover assembly 1 is provided for pressing a friction member 53 of a clutch disc assembly 52 to a flywheel 51 of an engine or for releasing it, and comprises a clutch cover 2, a pressure plate 3, a diaphragm spring 4, and a low release load property actualizing mechanism 8.
