PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink cartridge which can prevent ink from dripping into an inkjet recorder when the ink cartridge is attached and detached, and to provide an inkjet recorder. SOLUTION: Case protrusions 214a and 224a project more outward (right direction of Fig. 45(b)) than a projecting tip of an ink supplying part 120. When the ink stuck to a tip of a needle 49 drips as ink droplets or even if the ink flows dripping from the ink supplying part 120, the dripping ink can be received at a face of the ink supplying part 120 side of the case protrusions 214a and 224a.
