PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pattern display device which enables the offering of new game potentialities along with other innovations by achieving a higher visual effect and a game machine. SOLUTION: In a pattern display device (100) of a game machine (1), a DV liquid crystal device (120) capable of displaying images different depending on the viewing angle is installed being inclined below a reel (10a) having a mirror surface (111a). An image (DIMG) on one side of visual angle with the DV liquid crystal device is directly displayed while a figure image (SIMG) is dynamically displayed being projected onto the mirror surface of the reel.
