Recombinant nucleic acid molecule (A), for expressing at least one foreign nucleic acid (I), the transcription of which is under control of at least one regulatory unit (RU). At least one tet-operator (tO), for binding a tetracycline repressor molecule (TRM), is positioned between the sequence region containing (I) and RU, and (A) includes at least one origin of replication (ori) for independent replication of (A). Independent claims are also included for: (1) cells that contain (A) and their cultures; (2) transgenic animals that contain the cells of (1) and (3) proteins (II) produced by (A), the cells of (1) or the animals of (2).
