<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To optimize recording laser beam power during recording data in an optical disk device. <P>SOLUTION: Recording laser beams are divided into three laser beams being a main laser beam 100, a first sub laser beam 102 and a second sub laser beam 104 to be emitted to the same track on an optical disk. The main laser beam 100 forms a pit, and the second sub laser beam 104 follows the main laser beam 100, evaluates the degree of forming the pit and adjusts the increase/decrease of the power of the main laser beam 100. The first sub laser beam 102 detects an offset portion resulting from a variation in in-plane reflectance of the optical disk and a lens shift and normalizes the quantity of reflected light of the second sub laser beam 104. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
