<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the construction cost by selecting a printer printable in the shortest time and performing printing. <P>SOLUTION: This printing system 1 comprises a print job information creating means 9 for creating print job information for inquiring a printer specified from a plurality of printers 6, 7 and 8 about transmission of a print job, a print managing means 12 for determining the existence of print waiting time in the specified printer and creating information about the print waiting time, a print determining means 10 for creating other print job information for announcing transmission of the print job to the printer whose print waiting time is the shortest, and a processing means 13 for executing the print job corresponding to the latter print job information when the latter print job information created by the print determining means 10 comes to the top of the job list of the printer whose print waiting time is the shortest. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
