PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain excellent communication quality and reduce the influence of noises, irrespective of the position of a power line to which a power line communication apparatus is connected, in a frequency matching circuit for power line communication, an adapter device for power line communication and a power line communication apparatus. SOLUTION: The frequency matching circuit 1 for power line communication is provided with a frequency matching means 7 connected between a power line communication circuit 6 for performing data communication via a power line and the power line, and capable of variably adjusting electrostatic capacity. A communication adapter device 4 for power line communication is provided with the frequency matching circuit 1 for power line communication, a pair of matching circuit side outlet plugs 1a each connectable to power outlet jack, and a pair of matching circuit side outlet jacks 1b to which a communication device outlet plugs 2a having a communication circuit 6 can be connected.
