PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ADF type paper feeding tray and an image reading device capable of eliminating a sense of oppression visually and allowing a user to confirm paper delivered downward easily. SOLUTION: While paper is loaded, a central section in the direction of the width of the paper is supported by a first supporting part 16, an outer side in the direction of the width of the paper is supported by a second supporting part 18, and both sides in the direction of the width of the paper are hung down in the downward direction substantially equally. Consequently, the first supporting part 16 can be miniaturized, and the ADF type paper feeding tray 10 can be miniaturized. As a result, it is possible to eliminate a sense of oppression caused by the ADF type paper feeding tray 10 visually.
