PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep a stable heat flow channel, even if heating or cooling are repeatedly performed, and to measure a sample to be measured with high accuracy. SOLUTION: This differential scanning calorimeter 1 is equipped with a housing chamber 2 for housing the sample to be measured and a reference substance; a heater 3 for heating the housing chamber; a differential heat flow detector 4 for outputting the temperature difference between the sample to be measured and the reference substance as a heat flow difference signal; a cooling block 5 controlled so as to be cooled to a predetermined temperature; a heat resistor 6 for mechanically connecting the cooling block and the housing chamber and forming the heat flow channel between both of them; a first fixing means 8 for pressing and fixing the heat resistor to the cooling block, while energizing the same by definite elastic force and a second fixing means 9 for pressing and fixing the housing chamber to the heat resistor, while the same is energized by definite elastic force.
