A column spacer pattern and an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) using the same are provided to support the both sides of the column spacer by a data line, thereby inhibiting the movement of the column spacer according to the compression of the outside of a panel. An individual column spacer has thickness for securing a cell gap and is supported by a data line(302) formed on a TFT(Thin Film Transistor) substrate so that the movement thereof is limited. The individual spacers(360a,360b) are arranged alternately with the data line as the center. The individual spacer pairs are also arranged at both sides of the data line as the center. The individual column spacers have a groove for introducing the data line. The groove is formed by an arch shape. Color filters are arranged at the first substrate with a lattice structure. TFTs are arranged at the second substrate with the lattice structure. An individual column spacer is arranged at a column spacer pattern.
