Provided are a method for using useful charcoal as a pigment to replace an already-known inorganic or organic pigment, and an artificial marble containing charcoal as a pigment. The artificial marble containing charcoal comprises 0.1-5 parts by weight of charcoal based on 100 parts by weight of a base resin syrup. Preferably the artificial marble comprises 100 parts by weight of a base resin syrup; 50-250 parts by weight of an inorganic filler; 0.1-10 parts by weight of a crosslinking agent; 0.1-10 parts by weight of a polymerization initiator; and 0.1-5 parts by weight of charcoal as a pigment. |
