OLED for full colour display

摘要

An organic light emitting device (OLED) comprises an organic light emissive layer 18 disposed between an anode 12 and cathode. The organic light emissive layer 18 is an organic semiconducting material comprising 1 to 7% amine by molar ratio. The organic semiconducting material preferably comprises a conjugated polymer with the amine present as a repeat unit. The organic semiconducting material may also included a conjugated co-polymer where the co-polymer further includes an electron transporting repeat unit such as a fluorene repeat unit. The cathode comprises an electron injecting layer 20 comprising a metal oxide. The metal oxide is preferably an alkali metal oxide or alkaline earth metal oxide such as Barium oxide. A full colour display comprising the OLED is also disclosed.
