摘要 A mirror coated photochromic lens for sunglasses is provided to increase reflectivity as a chrome film gets thicker, by depositing the chrome film surrounded by a SiO2(Silicon Dioxide) film with different thickness on the front surface of the lens, and to reduce the reflectivity of the light incident from the rear side by executing an anti-reflection coating on the rear surface. In a mirror coated photochromic lens for sunglasses, a chrome film surrounded by SiO2(Silicon Dioxide) dielectric films with different thickness is deposited on the front surface of the hard coating photochromic lens. The rear surface of the lens is treated by anti-reflection coating. And finally, both surfaces of the lens are treated by antifouling coating. The thickness of the chrome film is 4~6nm. A SiO2 protective layer with thickness of 10nm is formed on the front side of the chrome film and the SiO2 film with thickness of 50nm is formed on the rear side. Therefore, the reflection of the light from the rear side of the lens is minimized.
