A purifying method of circulation water for painting booth containing a water-soluble paint is provided to suppress the generation of odor by effectively recovering the water-soluble paint in the slurry form from the circulation water for painting booth containing the water-soluble paint, and efficiently removing an organic solvent from the circulation water for painting booth. A purifying method of circulation water for painting booth comprises separating and recovering the water-soluble paint in the slurry form from the circulation water after adding a refining composition comprising 20 to 30 weight parts of a cation water-soluble polymer based on 100 weight parts of the organic solvent, and 2 to 6 weight parts of a microbial product based on 100 weight parts of the total oil-soluble paint amount into circulation water for painting booth containing a water-soluble paint comprising an organic solvent, and an oil-soluble paint comprising an organic solvent. The cation water-soluble polymer is a polyvinyl alcohol-based resin. The microbial product is selected from Arthrobacter species, Nocardia species, Mycobacterium species, Bacillus species, or mixtures thereof. |
