A plug coupling, especially between a tubular section (2) and an insert (3) has the insert pushed into the tube up to a collar (7) and with securing plugs (4) inserted through holes (5) in the tube to engage profiled slots (6) in the insert. The plugs have a non circular shape and are rotated between the locking and release positions by a simple screwdriver.
