<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a turbine of a supercharger which switch two flow passages or adjust flow rate of exhaust passing through each flow passage and in which each flow passage has two turbine scrolls so as to supply an exhaust of an internal combustion engine to a turbine rotor, wherein the flow passage of exhaust supplied to the turbine rotor can be more surely switched and the flow rate of exhaust passing through each flow passage can be more surely adjusted. <P>SOLUTION: A valve device 3 for switching flow passages through which exhaust passes or adjust flow rate of exhaust passing through each flow passage in accordance with an operating state of an internal combustion engine comprises a single rotary shaft 4, an arm 5 fixed to the rotary shaft 4 and branched into two, and two flat-plate valves 6, 7 provided to tips of the arm 5 branched into two. Through the utilization of the arm 5 branched into two, the flat-plate valves 6, 7 are arranged on both sides of a partition wall for separating two turbine scrolls in the flow passage to control exhaust flow. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
