The seat has a belt, two rear pivot brackets (34), and two lateral parts (36, 38) supported by the brackets. A backrest (50) connected to the lateral parts by articulation of the backrest, and a buckle (28) is adapted to close the belt. The lateral part (36) located on a side of the diverted seat of the buckle is in shell shape, where the lateral part has a root (44) and a shaped flange (46). The diverted lateral part of the buckle is opened on the seat side located from an exterior side of a vehicle.
