PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a patient device which exhibits a high level of user-friendliness despite having relatively small dimensions in a portable diabetes treatment device which continuously delivers insulin to a diabetic patient.
SOLUTION: At least a part of a user interface of the patient device, especially a display unit, can be represented separately from the patient device and recognisably by a patient. The size of the representation is no longer subject to the size limitations of the case of the patient device. A patient with restricted eyesight can see a larger representation. The patient device 2 has a case and a projector, and the projector represents information on a surface 4 separately from the patient device 2. The surface 4 may be a table, a wall, a screen, paper, clothing, or the back of a hand. Further, the patient device may be employed as a virtual retina display.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
