ELECTRIC BLOWER AND VACUUM CLEANER USING IT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem in an impeller of an electric blower that air currents sucked into passages defined between fan blades do not flow uniformly and air blowing efficiency is therefore deteriorated.

SOLUTION: The electric blower comprises a plurality of the almost arcuate fan blades A25 constituting the impeller, a front shroud 12 and a rear shroud 13 pinching the fan blades A25, and the almost arcuate fan blades B24 shorter than the fan blades A25 in an opposite direction to the rotation direction of the fan blades A25 wherein partition walls 26 of almost circle arc shapes are provided for closing an almost triangular space defined by outer peripheral ends of the fan blades B24, the front shroud 12 and the rear shroud 13. Vortexes and turbulent flows of air caused in the space can be eliminated and the blowing efficiency is improved.
