PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric blower with a diffuser improved in a mold-release characteristic in resin molding, preventing molding failure and narrowing intervals of volute walls. SOLUTION: Fig.1(A) is a front view of the diffuser for application to the electric blower of the present invention and Fig.1(B) is a sectional view of its side portion. The diffuser 4 is formed of two parts of a horizontally divided type and comprises one diffuser 41 of resin molding and the other diffuser 42 of resin molding. Fig.1(B) shows a state in which the two parts are combined to form the diffuser 4. The plurality of volute walls 5 are uniformly disposed at equal intervals on the outer periphery of the diffuser 4 and the number of volute walls 5 are increased by less than 30 percents as compared with a conventional one. The intervals of the volute walls of the diffuser can be therefore narrowed and blowing efficiency of the electric blower can be increased. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
