<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a content data distribution system which reduces a buffer capacity of a reproduction terminal and suppresses interruption and the quality change of a reproduced video image and music. <P>SOLUTION: In the content data distribution system, a server 1 divides the whole content data into preset partial content data Di. The server 1 distributes the initial partial content data D0 by redividing them into file data A0 and stream data B0 according to the lowest stream distribution speed RL of a network 102. In addition, the server 1 distributes the each piece of content data Di by redividing them into file data Ai and stream data Bi according to stream distribution estimated speed Riu at that time in the network 102.
