A curtain air bag module mounting structure is provided to smoothly deploy an air bag by preventing a pillar trim from being wound into a passenger compartment, and to prevent the air bag from entering the gap formed between a vehicle body and the pillar trim during deployment of the air bag. A curtain air bag module mounting structure includes a curtain air bag(60) arranged in a vertical direction along a pillar(50) of a vehicle body; a head liner(52) arranged in front of the pillar, and opened by the deployment pressure of the curtain air bag during deployment of the curtain air bag; and a pillar trim(54) arranged in front of the pillar and protruded toward a passenger compartment. The pillar trim has at least one groove(70) for absorbing impact upon occurrence of side vehicle crash. The pillar trim has a main body portion(54a) spaced apart from the vehicle body, and a bent portion(54b) protruded toward the vehicle body from the main body portion.
