A functional composition for alleviation of hangover and detoxication of nicotine is provided to provide the inhibition effect of the alcohol concentration in blood, the stomach protecting effect such as inhibiting damage of the gastric mucous membrane, excessive secretion of gastric juice and pH lowering of the gastric juice and liver protecting effect, thereby being effective for preventing and alleviating the hangover. The functional composition for alleviation of hangover and detoxication of nicotine comprises 0.001-20 wt.% of an extract of aloe vera, 0.001-20 wt.% of an extract of green tea leaves, 0.001-10 wt.% of an extract of mugwort, 0.001-10 wt.% of an extract of pine needles, 0.001-10 wt.% of an extract of dropwort, 0.001-10 wt.% of an extract of Acanthopanacis cortex, 0.001-10 wt.% of an extract of Chinese quince, 0.001-10 wt.% of an extract of ginger, 0.001-10 wt.% of an extract of onion, 0.001-8 wt.% of an extract of asparagus, 0.001-20 wt.% of an extract of vitamin and the remaining amount of water. The composition further comprises 0.001-15 wt.% of an extract of mulberry leaves, an extract of dried orange peel, an extract of ginko nuts, an extract of Chinese matrimony vine, an extract of balloonflower, and an extract of apple.
