OBJECT-RECOGNITION TOY USING RFID TAG AND THE METHOD FOR OPERATING

An object-recognition toy using an RFID tag and an operation method thereof are provided to offer information for an object to kids audiovisually by including an RFID reader and reading the RFID tag attached to the object with the RFID reader. A selector(22) receives an output option indicating a different output type by each age from a user. The RFID reader(25) reads a unique code from the RFID tag attached to the object. An object information storing part(27) stores A/V object information related to the object by each unique code. An output part(26) audiovisually outputs the object information by including a speaker and a display device. A controller(20) includes an algorithm outputting the object information according to the unique code of the object by receiving the RFID tag attached to the object. If the object is a book, the toy outputs contents of the book by detecting the RFID tag attached to the book.
