摘要 A martensitic stainless steel (I) contains (in wt. %, apart from iron and production impurities) 0.45-0.55 carbon, 12-18 chromium, 1-2.5 silicon, up to 2 manganese, 0.2-0.5 vanadium, up to 0.5 molybdenum, 0.05-0.15 nitrogen (with (C+N) = 0.55-0.70), up to 1 nickel, up to 0.25 copper (or not more than half the Ni content), up to 1 cobalt, up to 0.2 tungsten, up to 0.15 niobium, up to 0.025 aluminum, up to 0.010 titanium, up to 0.030 sulfur, up to 0.040 phosphorus and up to 0.005 boron. Independent claims are included for: (1) the production of a martensitic stainless steel component, by: (a) forming and casting (I); (b) optionally heat treating to homogenize the structure at 1150-1225[deg] C; (c) thermomechanically converting under heating, e.g. by rolling and/or forging at 1000-1200[deg] C; (d) optionally annealing at 650-900[deg] C, followed by cooling in air or in the furnace; and (e) carring out final thermal or thermomechanical treatments to provide a specific shape and/or properties; and (2) the martensitic stainless steel components obtained by the process.
