[Also in Division E2] A tractor hitch link 10 has a socket with a removable ball 13 whereby balls with holes 15 suitable for different category implements can be inserted. Part of the spherical surface of the ball is cut away to leave a tongue 22 adapted to engage in a groove 24 of decreasing depth so that the ball can be inserted into the socket and then turned through 90 degrees into its operative position. In embodiments the tongue 22 and groove 24 are omitted; or the tongue is formed as shown in figure 17 and the groove is of uniform depth across the socket. |
