PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water splash preventing tool in which the height of the upper edge of a water splash preventing plate is arbitrarily set and which hardly comes off even when the body, hand, or arm of a user contact the water splash preventing plate to add an impact thereto. SOLUTION: The water splash preventing plates (20. 21) are constituted in such a manner that a plate drawing port (10B) is formed at the upper end, the front surface of a case (10) is magnetically attracted to an inner wall surface at the front edge side of the sink (51), and the horizontal width dimension of the plate is a little shorter than the horizontal width of the abdominal part of a working person. The plates (20, 21) are inserted into the case so as to be drawable from the plate drawing port of the case. When the water splash preventing plates are drawn out from the plate drawing port, the water splash preventing plates are magnetically attracted by magnet plates (30, 31) to be kept at an arbitrary height with respect to the case.
