PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recorder in which ejection stability of a recording head can be enhanced, and to provide its control method, and control circuit and driving method of the recording head. SOLUTION: Recording is performed on a recording medium by using a recording head having a first nozzle array of a plurality of first nozzles ejecting a first quantity of ink, and a second nozzle array of a plurality of second nozzles ejecting a second quantity of ink. The first and second nozzle arrays are divided, respectively, into a plurality of blocks and time sharing drive is carried out by the block. Within a predetermined period, an objective block driven by a drive means is selected from the first and second nozzle arrays. Operation is controlled so that the blocks are selected alternately from the first and second nozzle arrays according to a predetermined order. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
