PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform an intuitive operation using a remote controller of a simple configuration in an operating system which controls the function of apparatuses, such as a TV apparatus. SOLUTION: In the operation system which consists of the apparatus equipped with the remote controller of the simple configuration of controlling a lighting status of a plurality of LEDs by a switch, a video camera and an image processing means, an image of the lighting status of the plurality of the LEDs photographed with the video camera is used for performing the function control of the apparatus by recognizing the image with the image processing means, and it can be used for performing the intuitive intelligible operation using the remote controller of the simple configuration.
