COLOR ADJUSTMENT METHOD, COLOR IMAGE FORMING METHOD, AND COLOR IMAGE FORMING SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color adjustment method, a color image forming method using the color adjustment method; and color image forming system for improving repeatability of gray tone generated from a first color image output device and reproduced by the second color image output device, and for improving color tone repeatability of red low tone portion. SOLUTION: A combination of CMY tone values is sought for reproducing gray color system value which can be obtained by printing using L*a*b*→CMY tone value LUT (S52), and a combination of MY tone values for reproducing R color system value is sought which can be obtained by printing using L*a*b*→CMY tone value LUT (S53). The M or Y tone value of the combination of CMY tone values sought in a predetermined tone value range is corrected based on the sought combination of MY tone values (S54), and correction characteristics for correcting the tone value is formed by using the combination of corrected CMY tone values (S55).
