PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pulse power supply having a short voltage rise time and a high switching efficiency in order to enhance the performance of a radar. SOLUTION: The pulse power supply comprises a full-bridge converter 11, a circuit 12 for driving the full-bridge converter 11, a circuit 13 for detecting the output voltage from the full-bridge converter 11, and a power supply control section 14 performing optimal PWM control by feeding back that output voltage detection value. After the voltage has risen, a selector 38 is switched from a source oscillation circuit 36 to an N frequency division circuit 37 upon elapsing a predetermined time in a delay circuit 43 in order to decrease the working frequency thus operating the pulse power supply as a stable DC power supply.
