<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a fuel cell capable of measuring moisture without being affected by temperature changes and time changes. <P>SOLUTION: In the fuel cell to carry out power generation by chemical reaction of hydrogen and oxygen, an electrolyte film, a first and a second catalyst layers/diffusion layers formed on both faces of this electrolyte film, a first and a second gas flow passages of a standard gas respectively formed at one part of these first and second catalyst layers/diffusion layers, a gas flow passage of the fuel gas formed at the first catalyst layer/diffusion layer, the gas flow passage of an oxidizing gas formed at the second catalyst layer/diffusion layer, a plurality of electrodes which are on the first and the second catalyst layers/diffusion layers and which are formed between the respective gas flow passages and which are to measure electrostatic capacitance of the surface that is covered by an insulating film, and a first and a second separators which are respectively formed on the first and the second catalyst layers/diffusion layers, the respective gas flow passages, and the electrodes are installed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
