An ice maker for a refrigerator is provided to accurately sense ice amount and properly supply ice by providing proper support structure so that a lever for sensing the ice amount is not deviated from a right position, and to provide the effective ice maker by reducing condensation time. An ice maker for a refrigerator automatically receiving ice-making water in a tray, automatically separating ice-made ice from an ice-making container when checking that an ice receiving container is not full of ice by a lever(2) for sensing ice amount after condensing the water by cool air of a freezer, and storing ice in the ice receiving container. A guide blade orthogonally portions a front surface of the ice-making container(3), and protrudes an ice separation guide in each compartment of the ice-making container. The guide blade forms a cut-out part on a front end of the ice-making container so as not to cover an air hole of a heater cover(5), and is mounted on the ice-making container.
