PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shape measuring method on a prism array for accurately measuring the prism shapes of the prism array used for a projection screen by using an optical interferometry. SOLUTION: Particles for diffusing light are deposited on prism surfaces. Thereafter, light beams are projected toward the prism surfaces with the particles deposited thereon. Out of diffused light from the particles, diffused light components that return to the side of the light source of the light beams are used to measure the prism shapes. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
