<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inclination deciding method, etc. for early deciding inclination at the time of stopping a vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: This inclination deciding method relates to deciding of inclination of a road surface on which the vehicle is stopped. The method comprises a vehicle speed lowering rate detecting step S06 for detecting a lowering rate of vehicle speed at the time of speed reduction based on an output of a vehicle speed sensor 61 for detecting rotation of wheels, and inclination deciding steps S11 and S21 for deciding inclination by comparing an output of an acceleration sensor 43 for detecting acceleration of the longitudinal direction of the vehicle with the lowering rate of the vehicle speed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
