HOLLOW-FIBER MODULE AND PROCESS FOR PRODUCING THE SAME

A process for producing a hollow-fiber module by which the distance between hollow-fiber sheets can be reduced and a potted part of a two-layer structure can be easily formed. A preferred embodiment of the process for hollow-fiber module production comprises: a first step in which two or more units are prepared which each comprises hollow fibers fixed side by side at end parts thereof to platy members; a second step in which the units are superposed so that the platy-member parts overlap through a first curable resin, and part of the space between the adjacent platy members on an end part side and the opposite side is filled with the first curable resin; and a third step in which that region in the space between the adjacent platy members which is on the end side of the first curable resin is filled with a second curable resin which is higher in hardness after curing than the first curable resin, and the resins are cured.
