PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method executable without residents moving during a construction period while correcting and reinforcing a general house or other structures leaning due to ground subsidence, from under a foundation to prevent the inclination of the structures. SOLUTION: This differentially settled foundation correcting and reinforcing method by underpinning is carried out by excavating under the foundation of the differentially settled structure, pressing in a pile 3 utilizing the load of the structure using a jack 2 installed under the ground foundation thereunder, and completing the pressed-in pile at a point of time when the foundation 1 is lifted by 3 mm or more by the tip of the pressed-in pile with the reaction force of the ground.
