PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foot rest of a chair, which is attachable/detachable at any time by simple operation. SOLUTION: The foot rest includes a first member formed of an outer peripheral part in which a part of the outer circumference is notched toward the center to form an approximately C shape and a notched part in which the periphery is similarly notched, where one end edge part of an opening formed of the notched part is served as a pivot end, a pivot hole vertically penetrating is formed on the pivot end, the other part of the opening is formed with a horizontal screw hole having threads on an inner wall, a recess groove is formed in an inner wall face of a hub, and provided with an anti-slip pad, and a second member formed to fit the shape of the notched part of the hub, and projections bored with a through hole in one end corresponding to the pivot end of the hub, where a through hole is formed at a position corresponding to the screw hole of the hub, a recess groove is formed in a face opposite to the first member, and provided with an anti-slip pad.
