The device has a connection body (16), with which ends of a pipe are brought in fluid connection with each other. The body comprises a shoulder surface attached to a receiving section (22). A base body (12) comprises a receiving space (14) for the receiving section of the connection body. Locking surfaces are provided at an outer side of the receiving section, and two locking channels are provided at the base body. Locking bolts (26) are inserted into locking channels between the surfaces. A sealing unit is attached at an edge region (32) of the base body.
