<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmission mode converter with a built-in bandstop filter that has a structure for preventing bandstop filter characteristics from being affected by an external additional circuit, even when the external additional circuit or the like is directly connected to a waveguide opening of the transmission mode converter while having the built-in bandstop filter inside the transmission mode converter. <P>SOLUTION: A probe 2 is inserted into a rectangular waveguide 1, which has an opening 1a on one end side and a short circuit face 1b on the other end side, from one wall face 1c of the rectangular waveguide 1 so as to mutually convert between a transmission mode of a waveguide and that of a non-waveguide line in the transmission mode converter. A resonance groove 3 resonating at a desired frequency is formed on the short circuit face 1b of the rectangular waveguide 1 so as to make a resonance frequency of the resonance groove 3 be a stop frequency. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
