<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a single suspension cable that greatly facilitates installation of an optical drop cable which is added to an existing optical fiber cable. <P>SOLUTION: In the single suspension cable 1, there are arranged, in parallel with a prescribed interval, the suspension cable 1 having a jacket 3 and an optical drop cable 4 having a jacket 8, wherein the catenary 1 is provided with hanger members 10 for hanging the optical drop cable, having prescribed spaces apart. Cable through-holes 10a where the optical drop cable 4 is put through are independently provided to the hanger members 10. The optical drop cable 4 is installed in a manner loosely inserted in the cable through-holes 10a of the hanger members 10, in the structure of the single suspension cable. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
