PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a speed reduction gear for an electric power steering device having excellent dimensional consistency requested for a worm wheel and high reliability thereby. SOLUTION: The speed reduction gear 20 for the electric power steering device for transmitting the output of an electric motor for generating the auxiliary steering output to a steering shaft has a resin part 3 consisting of a resin composition containing thermotropic liquid crystal polymer, ultra-fine particles of vulcanized acrylic rubber, and glass fibers processed with a silane coupling agent integrated with the outer circumference of a metallic core tube 1, and has a worm wheel 11 with gear teeth 10 formed on an outer circumferential surface of the resin part.
