ORGANIZED LAYERED SILICATE AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING SAME, AND RESIN COMPOSITION

Disclosed is an organized layered silicate which is a laminate composed of 3-60 layered silicates which are treated with a surface treating agent in a dispersed state. The laminate have a thickness of 10-120 nm, and the distance between adjacent surface-treated layered silicates constituting the laminate is 1.5-4.0 nm. It is preferable to obtain such an organized layered silicate by dispersing the layered silicates in a solvent and adding a surface treating agent thereinto until the pH of the solution reaches 5-7, and then filtering and cleaning the thus-obtained organized layered silicate dispersion.
