<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing system wherein when there is a constraint of bit precision for transfer of image data via an image drawing interface of an OS between processing sections, a proper processing section for carrying out the image processing is selected. <P>SOLUTION: When there is a constraint of the bit precision of the image drawing interface of the OS between processing sections in the system with the processing sections capable of executing image processing, the processing section carrying out the image processing is selected depending on types of printing such as ordinary printing and sample printing.
