<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To arouse a novel interest by awarding a prize according to information read from a portable medium. <P>SOLUTION: When a game terminal 1 reads an identification code 91 of an item card 90, a game mode is shifted to an item acquisition mode. In the item acquisition mode, an item awarding part 131b receives an additional item number and a mini game number according to the read identification code from a server 3 and displays them.
