<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress generation of an abnormal image more than ever before when a recording medium formed with a toner image before fixing is conveyed. <P>SOLUTION: A guide body 161 for guiding a back surface of paper formed with the toner image comprises an insulation material and is arranged so as to be opposed to a paper conveying route. A guide rib 161b is provided so as to be projected toward upper paper from a paper conveying route opposing part 161a, i.e., a portion opposed to the paper conveying route in the guide body 161. A covering metal plate 612 is constituted such that a part of the guide surface 161a1, i.e., a surface opposed to the paper conveying route in the paper conveying route opposing part 161a is covered by a covering part 162a. Namely, a slit 162c is formed on the covering metal plate 162 so as to correspond to the guide rib 161b.
