PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an element substrate for a display device which uses a plastic film substrate and can prevent the disconnection of an electrode (wiring) consisting of a transparent conductive layer. SOLUTION: The element substrate is constituted by forming an adhesive layer 32, a protective layer 28, electrodes 26 embedded in the protective layer 28, and auxiliary wiring parts 27 consisting of electroless metal plating layers embedded in the protective layer 26 and selectively formed at one end of the under surface side of the electrodes 26 on the plastic film 10.
