PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope controller capable of making equipment itself not be operated when a circuit for keeping safety concerning the function or usage and purpose of the endoscope controller gets out of order. SOLUTION: The endoscope controller includes: a safety keeping circuit 22 for keeping the safety concerning the function or usage and purpose of the endoscope controller; a control part 2 for controlling the operation of the endoscope controller; and a starting part 3 for starting the control part 2.
