<p>The adhesive layer, sandwiched between a protective and a carrier layer, is mounted in a spool in an applicator. On application to a surface the protective layer is peeled off and removed, the adhesive applied to the surface to be treated, and its adhesion is sufficient to allow the carrier to be peeled off. The action is induced by rolling the whole applicator over the surface to be coated.</p> |
